How to verify if a Class 1 Digital ID for Secure Email certificate was installed successfully.

Microsoft Internet Explorer
 
  1. From the menu bar, click Tools > Internet Options > Content tab > Certificates
  2. Under the Personal tab, a certificate issued to your name or Persona Not Validated
     
Mozilla Firefox:
 
  1. Open a Mozilla Firefox window.
  2. From the menu bar, click Tools > Options > Advanced > View Certificates
  3. Under Your Certificates tab, a certificate issued to your name should appear or Persona Not Validated

Google Chrome:

  1. Open Google Chrome.
  2. Click the Sandwich Button in the upper right hand corner and select settings
  3. Scroll down and click "Show advanced Settings"
  4. Scroll down to HTTPS/SSL and click Manage Certificates
  5. Under the Personal tab, a certificate issued to your name should appear or Persona Not Validated


If a certificate does not appear, ensure to follow all the instructions given in the approval email.  If the problem persists, contact Class 1 support at  id-queries@symantec.com
